This book brings to-gether many of the elaborate details of nineteenth century architechture and interior design and translated them into cross stitch. Each chapter presents a room, which is complete and decorative in its self but which can, if you wish be added to the other room designs to build a grand house wall hanging in the style of an open fronted dolls house. As well as the room designs each chapter is filled with smaller projects, from bookmarks and night-dress cases to amusing sayings and poems in the Victorian style.
